The Romance Collection
Nela coffee table is the result of a poetic interplay between embroidery and smithery. This piece draws inspiration from my great-grandmother's tablecloth designs, which I reimagined in a different material. Here, the softness of her patterns serves as a conceptual reference to contrast and complement the ruggedness of aluminum and raw wood.

The Romance collection is inspired by my family’s history of traditional crafts. My great-grandad worked with metal and wood, making everyday use objects, while my great-grandma specialized in textiles and embroidery. I explored how these contrasting crafts could merge in one furniture piece, blending the softness of my grandma’s embroidery with the roughness of my grandad’s materials.
